True Grit - Fine VITAMIN & MINERAL SUPERCHARGED GRIT True Grit is harvested from the shores of Southern Australia and then undergoes a special vitamin and mineral enrichment process by Vetafarm. The result is a super calcium source impregnated with high potency vitamins and minerals. True Grit is available in Fine, Medium and Coarse grades so there is a grade suitable for all species. Soluble Grit is needed for birds to be able to digest seed diets, it is also used as a Calcium source for egg shell production. Directions: True Grit should be available to birds as “free choice” at all times. The consumption of grit will vary throughout the year depending on the breeding cycle of the birds.
